- 東洋エンタープライズ社(Toyo Enterprises)ブランドのワークウェアレーベル・SUGAR CANE(シュガーケーン)のホワイトウォバッシュストライプワークシャツ(メンズ 半袖シャツ ショートスリーブシャツ)です。この製品は、ワークウェア黎明期のビンテージアメリカンワークシャツをベースに、オールドアメリカンスタイルのディテールを再現しつつも、現代的なシルエット、縫製を取り入れ、街着として着易い洗練されたファッショナブルでスタイリッシュなデザインに再構築されています。本来、ウォバッシュストライプ生地は、インディゴ染めの生地に、抜染で染め抜いた細かいドット(点)が並んだストライプ模様生地を指しますが、このシャツでは生成色のツイル生地にインディゴ染料でドットストライプをプリントした「ホワイトウォバッシュ」生地が使用されています。形は台衿チンストラップ付きレギュラーカラーのフルオープンタイプで、スソはカーブ状にカットされたラウンドボトム(ラウンドテール)です。素材はコットン100%の8.5オンス生成色ツイル生地です。薄すぎず、厚すぎない程よい肉厚のしっかりとしたドライな風合いの生地です。手織りのような織りムラ、ネップ(生地に混入した他色の糸くずのようなもの)などのナチュラル感が表現されたカジュアルな生地です。本来、ウォバッシュストライプ生地は、インディゴ染めの生地に、抜染で染め抜いた細かいドット(点)が並んだストライプ模様生地を指しますが、このシャツでは生成色のツイル生地にインディゴ染料でドットストライプをプリントした「ホワイトウォバッシュ」生地が使用されています。ワークらしい無骨な表情ながら、しなやかな着心地も併せ持つ生地です。この製品には、ワンウォッシュ加工がかけられています。そのため、シャツには、程よいオールド感とヴィンテージ感が生まれ、クラシックな印象を与えるシャツに仕上げられています。また、ワンウォッシュですでに生地の縮みが発生しているので、洗濯後の縮みが少なくサイズ感が安定しているのも利点のひとつです。フロントは7つボタンによるフルオープン開閉式です。ボタンには茶蝶貝の猫目ボタンが使用されています。貝から削りだしたボタンで、貝独特の色層と光沢感が美しいボタンです。ボタンホールは縦方向に開けられています。負荷のかかる肩部分にはもう1枚生地をあてた補強シングルポイントショルダーヨーク仕様です。左台衿にはチンストラップベルトが付属されています。右台衿にはボタンが付けられ、ボタン留めが可能です。サイズ調整や風や埃の進入を防ぐためなど諸説ある昔ながらのディティールです。両胸には、ボディのドットストライプに柄合わせされたパッチポケットが設けられています。ポケット開口部には補強布が充てられています。また、両胸ポケットともにポケット上部の角にバータック(カンヌキステッチ)で補強がほどこされています。主要部分の縫製は、2本針巻き縫いのヴィンテージワークシャツの仕様を再現した王道的なつくりです。両脇裾にはマチが付き、空縫いすると出てくる「空環」の、二本針(ダブルステッチ)の撚り糸が垂れ下がっています。1930-1950年代のワークシャツに見られたもので、補強の為に採用されたとされています。昔ながらのワークシャツの縫製手法を踏襲したディティールです。フロント左身頃の裾裏にはギャランティーチケットが縫い付けられています。ギャランティーチケットはユニオンチケットとも呼ばれ、衣類を製作する会社が労働組合に加盟している事を示したものだと言われています。作品名は「SC37275 Sugar Cane Fiction Romance Collection by Toyo Enterprises Mens Casual Fashion Stylish Slimmer Fit Vintage Style Ecru Colour Wabash Stripe Work Shirt for Urban Style / シュガーケーン 東洋エンタープライズ フィクションロマンス コレクション ミディアムウェイト インディゴ染料ドットプリント ウォバッシュストライプ アメリカンクラシックワークシャツモチーフ メンズ カジュアル ファッション 半袖シャツ ショートスリーブシャツ ワンウォッシュ済み 日本製」です。台衿チンストラップ、空環始末、マチ布使い、ギャランティーチケット仕様など、アメリカンビンテージワークウェアのディテールを随所にあしらった無骨さと、洗練された上品な雰囲気が融合されたアイテムに仕上げられています。オールドオールドアメリカン、アメカジテイストなデザインが魅力です。とってもかっこいいシュガーケーンストライプシャツです。この生地はインディゴ染料プリントを使用している為、汗や雨などで生地が湿った場合に色落ちして、移染する可能性があります。また、強く擦られた場合にも同様に他の衣料に移染する可能性がありますのでご注意下さい。洗濯により、他の物に移染しますので、単独でお洗いください。

Material : 100% Cotton 8.5 Oz. medium weight ecru colour wabash striped neppy twill fabric. One washed， non-stretch， tightly woven twill fabric. Fabric Type : Wabash stripe is originally indigo dyed fabric with discharge-printed with a dotted stripe pattern， but originally indigo dyed fabric is replaced by a ecru colour neppy twill fabric and a dotted stripe pattern is overprinted with indigo. It is high density and extremely durable. And it combines the toughness and the natural softness for comfort. And the shirt is one washed for the fashionable vintage feel and look， and to ensure consistent sizing， thus these are the final size fitting and it is ready-to-wear. The more you wear， the more fabric will fade beautifully and continue to get softer and cozier. Types of garment closure (Placket type) : 7 buttons on front opening with vertical button holes. Full-button closure (Front placket， Front button closure). The buttons are cat eye mother-of-pearl buttons. Collar Type : Regular collar with collar stand for crisper appearance. The left side collar has a neck strap (a chin strap， a throat tab， a throat latch) with buttons at right side underneath collar that fastens across the neck. It is used to protect the wearer from wind or dust. Bottom hem type : Curved hem ( shirt tail ). The shirttail scallop edge are finished with a gusset， and double twisted thread run off from the shirttail scallop edge， a classic detail found on authentic work shirts. This detail was found on work shirts of the 1930s-1950s and is believed to have been used to reinforce the hem. Pocket : This classically-styled shirt features asymmetric twin chest open-top matched patch pockets. Reinforced pocket openings. And the upper pocket corners are bar tacked for extra strength. Yoke type : Reinforced 1 point (single-point) back shoulder yoke. A shirt yoke is made from two layers of fabric for durability. Reinforced double-layers shoulder yoke for greater durability at at stress points. Back of the shirt : No pleats. Style : Mens Casual Fashion / American vintage workwer design.
